Are you trying to find fun games or math centers for your students to play that helps them learn how to problem solve? Well, this game is for you. This game was designed to help reinforce problem solving skills using subtraction using one step and two steps. Students will read a story problem and use a manipulative to solve. There are acorn pieces and a tree to use as a work mat. A white board or piece of paper can be used by students to write the subtraction sentences. If the work mat is not laminated, your students can use a white board marker and eraser to write the addition sentence on the work mark. I included a worksheet that can be printed as well. I hope you and your students enjoy this game as much as mine have! Thanks for looking! Janet Evans
