This is a game with 23 cards that goes with the format of "I Have...Who Has?". It is great for review of skills, remediation, extra practice, or for a math lesson taught by a sub.
The game starts with 2-digit numbers minus 1-digit, and then gets progressively harder. A great review for the kids, and it's really fun to try to beat the clock! Play it once, and put a post-it note with the time it took you to get through all of the cards. Then, the next time you play, try to beat that time. It's fun to see the difference throughout the year.
Can't wait to play the regrouping game with my students. It is fast and efficient to review subtraction. Great way to teach mental math.

This activity is perfect for the students. Also when being observed, it provides movement for the students which is required in instruction according to the Marzano Evaluation process. Administrators will love seeing the students standing in a circle and doing an activity :-) Thank you and Happy Thanksgiving!

I have taught 3rd grade for four years, and just moved to 2nd grade this year. It has been a great change, with a lot of opportunities to create new and different things!
