These are center-type activities with a summer camping theme. Well organized and cover a wide range of language arts & math that the kiddos should know by the end of the year. I was looking for something a little different: whole class activities to do with my class to finish up the last week of school. This would be great over several weeks.

I've been teaching for 26 years, with the majority of my experience being in first grade. I taught Reading Recovery for 5 years, and that experience has impacted every day of my teaching since! For the past 10 years, I've enjoyed teaching a first grade literacy intervention class. It has also been my privilege to present various workshops on literacy topics at the local, state, and national level. My goal is to ignite a passion for reading and writing in young learners.
