Teaching Third Grade? Do you hope your students will keep their brains sharp by reading this summer? Here's some help!
This bingo board gives you a reading list and incentives at the same time. Each square lists either a book, an author, a series, or a fun activity, like reading in your pajamas. The reading list includes classics like Judy Moody and Stink, current favorites like Frannie K. Stein, and stellar new releases like Young Fredle. Activities on the bingo board include fun choices like reading in pajamas or reading barefoot. Much more fun than a reading log!
You can choose to use the second page (staple or copy on 2 sides) to have your student write the titles and get a parent signature. Or just use the first page with the honor system.
Students can choose to complete five squares in a row or black out the whole board, and bring it to next year's teacher (or librarian) for a prize. Much more fun than a reading log!
