At the end of the year, I have each student bring in a composition notebook. I staple the directions (pg. 1) on the cover and then stample the next 2 pages of writing prompts on the next 2 pages. The prompts are sentence starters great for any K-2 student. As students use the prompts, they can check them off. Once the student completes the writing prompt, he/she can illustrate and share with a family member or next year's teacher!! It is a great way to maintain writing skills over the summer!
