This crossword puzzle contains anagrams of key terms from SUMMER OF THE MONKESY. Every clue is a scrambled word that students have to unscramble. For example, VEERF translates to FEVER in the puzzle, and YEMNO translates to MONEY. Some puzzles even have clues with a single capital letter, indicating the first letter of the word. Students might not know them all, but, as with all crosswords, many words will slowly be revealed as students fill in the ones they do know. A good spelling workout!

Before I buy Summer of the Monkeys, the extra stuff that's listed for the novel, is it duplicated in the Themeworks or the Fun With Great Works? I just didn't want to buy duplicates of activities. Please advise. Lesia

Fun with Great Works includes 40 pages (approx.) of word puzzles for $7.50, or you can buy them separately for $1-2.50 apiece/per group. ThemeQuotes is a classroom game based on the book. The 12 theme-related quotations that I list separately are actually the quotations used in the ThemeQuotes game. Let me know if that doesn't answer your question.
