Subject Area:
I am getting ready to enter my fourth full year of teaching in North Carolina. I am certified in five areas which include English as a Second Language, Middle School Social Studies, Middle School Science, Middle School Language Arts, and Middle School Math. This past year, I taught 8th Grade Science in the Randolph County School District. I believe in creating a classroom environment that incorporates the three R's of rigor, relevance, and relationships. I have a strong passion to see students get on track in literacy and to develop higher-level critical thinking skills.
