This product is a file containing more than 20 handout activities for use with Chapter One of the Miller and Levine Biology textbook known as the Dragonfly version. All the work was made by me and based directly on the book which is a very common text for high school level Biology. There is a crossword, a fill in the blank study sheet, objective outlines with an activity, extra work sheets, and several word search, matching, and word scramble activities. Over the last several years I have created these supplemental activities to further help my students learn the material in this chapter. These handouts are especially useful to aid in their vocabulary development. They are designed for use at any point during the chapter or as a review. Also, many of the assignments were made for use as period starting activities. If you just don’t have the time or patience to make activities on your own you can trust that these will do the job.
