This is an inquiry science lesson that involves 4 hands on learning experiences using household materials. My students love these easy to do, yet meaningful demonstrations of how molecules interact to cause surface tension. Included are lab direction sheets to post for student use as well as a student worksheet for completion at each station. Suggested teacher discussion questions set the stage for student-centered learning!
