Learning the Long U sound can be really tricky for some students. This fun game gives them more practice reading words with Short U and Long U CVCe patterns.
There are 54 word cards featuring short U and Long U CVCe words, 12 special Wipe Out cards, a recording sheet for the end of the game, and a blank page for you to add your own words.
There is one *oddball* card for a word that doesn't fit the pattern - put. You may want to preteach this word.
