Surfer Kids All About Me Adjective and Responsibility Activities and Craftivity is a great unit for the beginning of the school year. Although it's perfect for Back-to-School time, it works well for any time of the year!
Use the "I Am Responsible" mini-book in addition to lessons on character, behavior and responsibility. It is a perfect addition to Peacekeepers and Bucket Fillers.
This unit also includes a 5 day mini-lesson on adjectives. There are adjective worksheets and a culminating surfer kid craft - complete with all blacklines - ready to be copied on scrapbook or construction paper. It also includes beautiful and bright lettering for a bulletin board header.
The adjective activity focuses on "All About Me" related adjectives so it is relatable to the kiddos who know the most about themselves. The craftivity includes a writing activity wherein the kids fill in blanks with words that describe and are "all about" them.
