This 25 page packet focuses on decomposing and composing numbers up to 20. The ice cream cones have the number that your students will work to decompose. There are 5 different number sentences for each number (excluding 4 and 5).
There are 6 different recording sheets to differentiate instruction and one blank sheet so you can choose which numbers you want your students to work on!

I love this activity. It is very cute but my kindergarten students have a difficult time reading the numbers because of the font.

Just finished "scooping" the ice cream for the class to "consume" this week....got a numb thumb from the amount of intricate cutting, but I know our students will love the activities we have planned for our ice cream social.

These are really cute. Love the recording sheet.
Wish you had put more scoops on the page to save on cardstock...
One question: How do you store them?
Completely understand about the card stock! I was trying to make it straightforward so there wasn't any confusion about the problems. :) I just store them in a ziplock, all together. Nothing fancy ;) thanks for the feedback!
So glad your kids enjoyed it! Thanks for the feedback! :)

OMGosh I totally love this product! Going to print and use with my rising second grader this summer...we are having her two "besties" over for an ice-cream party of fun centers and making their own ice-cream! Thank you kindly!
haha I'm trying! I teach in TX and we use different standards... but really they're the same, I just have to go hunting for the CC standards to state them! Thank you so much for the wonderful feedback!!
