Here is a game to help your students with their syllable counting.
Students look at the picture and then count the number of syllables and add it to the correct game board.
Graphics purchased at Just So Scrappy Too.
Appealing game for developing phonemic awareness in little learners :o)

Love the game! It took me a little while to figure out that firecracker was just that. I knew it had to be 4 syllables but I kept thinking it was dynamite, candle, firework, at last I came up with firecracker. Everything else it self explanatory I think it will be a great activity for my kindergarteners who have been working on syllables and love to clap them out!

I have taught for 20 years at two different schools. I have taught first, second and third grades.
Now I am off on a new adventure. Our school is creating accelerated classrooms in each grade level and I will be teaching the second grade one!
