This is a spooktacular way to practice syllables! Students choose a card, clap out the syllables, and place the card in a pocket chart or sorting mat. I like to let my students use gloves to practice clapping out the syllables (it is quieter!). The Dollar Tree has "spooky" Halloween gloves right now that are the perfect addition to this game. Of course, you can use any gloves or no gloves at all.
