If you're looking for spring eggs, Easter eggs, line symmetry, a math activity, and art, this packet may be eggs-actly right! Kids will enjoy drawing and coloring symmetrical designs on their eggs. There are 10 designs with two levels of difficulty plus writing prompts.
TIP: For a quick last-minute project, print out the fully-drawn designs and have your kiddos color them symmetrically. A FREE sample of two eggs is included in the Preview, which shows many of the pages.
This activity is aligned with the Common Core State Standard for 4th grade geometry:
4.G.3. Recognize a line of symmetry for a two-dimensional figure as a line across the figure such that the figure can be folded along the line into matching parts. Identify line-symmetric figures and draw lines of symmetry.
