This is a bundled pack of three Synonym Task Card Set for grades 2-3. There are 96 cards all together. If you are buying all three packs, you can save money by purchasing the bundle.

Synonym Task Cards Set 3
Each of the three sets is labeled by number and color coded so you won't get them mixed up. You can use the same included answer sheets for all three sets, just make sure students fill in which set they have completed in the box. Answer keys for self-checking and a challenge card for extending the activity are also included. These task cards are perfect for test prep and will work well at literacy centers, stations, for partner work, or with the whole class using a game like Scoot.
These cards will look best in color, but will also print out fine in grayscale. Simply print and cut along the guidelines. Laminate and use them again and again. Alternatively, you could print on cardstock. It works well to keep them in a baggie. Another option is to hole-punch a corner of each card and put them all on a ring.

Demonstrate understanding of figurative language, word relationships, and nuances in word meanings.

TEACHING EXPERIENCE
Subject Area:
Most of my teaching experience is with gifted and talented students in grades 2-4, though I have worked with children of all ages in general education classrooms as well. A few years ago I stopped teaching in order to write nonfiction children's books full time. Gradually over the last couple of years, my career has switched from writing to creating teaching materials here on Teacher Pay Teacher. I love creating teaching products (most recently task cards) and feel just as passionate about my work now as I did when I was teaching.
