THE BIBLE AND ITS INFLUENCE high school textbook is promoted as a constitutional way to teach about the Bible in public schools. We agree with the promoters that young people need to know major Bible stories to be culturally literate, but they should not be proselytized in school classrooms. In this10-page review we document the subtle ways in which the textbook authors promote the Christian faith.
