This chart can be completed while reading the novel, or after reading. Students are required to identify character personality traits and cite textual evidence for their chosen trait. This must be done for five (5) characters. More prominent characters require multiple entries (traits). Students should cite a different example for each trait. Directions and an example are provided for the students.
The first page is provided as a sample. The second page is just a continuation of the chart.

Help
I returned to my Junior High School in Glendale, CA, which is now Toll Middle School (instead of "Junior High"), and taught English for three years. I've taught 7th Grade Regular English and ELD 4 and 8th Grade Regular, Advanced English and ELD 1-2, and 3. I am now substitute teaching, having gone back to it originally to gain some high school level experience. High school is not for me, I discovered. So now I am back to the middle/junior high school level, and happier (even as a substitute). Hopefully I'll be able to find an opening and get back to teaching full-time!
