TROJAN WAR CONFIDENTIAL: Role Play Activity / Study Sheets /Quizzes

TROJAN WAR CONFIDENTIAL is a vaudeville adaptation of the Trojan War. Students re-enact tragicomic touchstones of Greek mythology: the Temptation and Very Poor Judgment of Paris, the Curse of Cassandra, the Wrath of Achilles, and a Trojan Horse that argues with itself.

TROJAN WAR CONFIDENTIAL has been produced with both middle and high school students, then "work-shopped" as a teaching tool for introducing classics of world culture in a limited amount of time with a maximum amount of fun. Six pages of study sheets and quizzes are included.

Michael Fountain's pastiche of Shakespeare for students, "Hamlet with Extra Cheese", is available from Brooklyn Publishers, with productions in the U.S. and Canada. He has published articles on a variety of topics and taught in both inner city and rural schools for more than 20 years.
