My school requires the students to have a "do now" activity before reading, in which the students work independently for 3-5 minutes...these books work perfectly for this! AND I can send them home for additional practice when we finish in the classroom!

I Love this resource. I especially like how you have included the words in sentences for context and the sight word phrases. This will definitely help with sight word recognition and fluency (reading in phrases and not just word by word). The parent letter was a nice bonus!

Thank you for your response. Opening the file is not the problem. For some reason, it won't print. I am in Adobe, I am choosing the pages that I want and nothing. Is there some way that I could get Book 2 on it's own and try that? I didn't have any problem with Book 1 on it's own.

I'm sorry to hear that you can't download the file. Do you have Adobe Reader? Here is what TpT says you can do to fix it:
If you purchased a PDF and it is after you open it, solve it this way: on a MAC or PC, install the latest version of ADOBE READER. Then, open the file with ADOBE READER. That's it. On a MAC, make sure to "Open With" ADOBE READER and NOT Preview. If it's still blurry, that's because you are still opening it with Preview.

My district uses the Fry word list, but I have noticed that some of the words are not matching up, such as #148 it may be farm or form depending on what version of the Fry list is being used. As well as many of the endings are different (-s, -ed, etc). I love this product but really need it to match the Fry list used by my district. Can I have an edible version of what I purchased so I can adjust it to meet our list for the first 300 words. I would GREATLY appreciate it.
