This game is perfect to use on National Talk Like a Pirate Day (each year on September 19th) or any time to practice context clues! An answer key is provided for students to check their answers.

Hi Rachel! I love the idea of pirate terminology for context clues. Quick question...should the the word pirates on card 17 show ownership in reference to another pirates ship (pirate's) rather than plural?
