Use these 32 multiple choice task cards to reinforce antonyms. A student answer sheet for students to record their answers is included along with an answer key for self-checking. There is also a Challenge Card that can be used in conjunction with any other card to extend the activity. These task cards are perfect for test prep and will work well at literacy centers, stations, for partner work, or with the whole class using a game like Scoot.
These cards will look best in color, but will also print out fine in grayscale. Simply print and cut along the guidelines. Laminate and use them again and again. Alternatively, you could print on cardstock. It works well to keep them in a baggie. Another option is to hole-punch a corner of each card and put them all on a ring.

Foundational for Common Core Standard L.5 for grades 2 and 3:

Demonstrate understanding of figurative language, word relationships, and nuances in word meanings

Synonym Task Cards Sets can be found in the Task Card section of my TpT store.

I am looking for your "What Time Is It?" task cards. I downloaded & printed them, but need the answer sheet. Did you remove this item? I have searched your website & TpT, but it's not coming up. Thanks.

I haven't removed them, but the site is still buggy from the update. If you send me the specific name of the product (I have several for telling time), I will email it to you directly. Send to reallyrachel@gmail.com

I love love your task cards. We have been using them as year end review centers. I like the idea of putting them cardstock with rings. What is the best and most effective way to store and organize them?

I know that some teachers hang the rings from hooks on a wall. Others keep cards in baggies or envelopes and keep all of those in a bin. There are some more ideas here:

Hope that helps a little!

TEACHING EXPERIENCE

Most of my teaching experience is with gifted and talented students in grades 2-4, though I have worked with children of all ages in general education classrooms as well. A few years ago I stopped teaching in order to write nonfiction children's books full time. Gradually over the last couple of years, my career has switched from writing to creating teaching materials here on Teacher Pay Teacher. I love creating teaching products (most recently task cards) and feel just as passionate about my work now as I did when I was teaching. I also love knowing that my products help thousands of teachers and reach tens of thousands of students.
