This poster is to help remind students what they need to do when they forgot what they should be doing on an assignment. I made this when I started doing centers and each time a student came and asked me a question about the assignment that was covered in the instructions, I would point to the sign. Within a couple of days, the number of times I was asked what they should be doing dropped dramatically. It was amazing and nice. I'm now able to work with students during centers time.
This chart reminds students to first read directions, second to quietly ask a classmate, third to quietly ask another classmate, and last ask the teacher.
