This SmartBoard lesson introduces students to the concepts of tens and ones and includes a lesson plan, interactive pages (drag and drop base ten blocks), website links to base ten activities, and 2 worksheets to check for understanding. Students learn to identify 2 digit numbers by using tens and ones. They will also learn to exchange 10 cubes for a long (base ten rod).

Hi! I hope I can help. First, I always ask if you have Smart Notebook software installed on your computer. This is a .notebook file and requires Notebook software to open. If you don't have this software, unfortunately this file will not open. You can click "contact us" at the bottom of the page, email TPT and request a refund. If you DO have smart notebook and the file is not opening, send me another message and I'll see what I can do to trouble shoot for you.
