I often use brightly colored sticky note strips or highlighters to have students "tag" their work with their level of understanding. I like the visual aspect of the activity and the discussions that happen between students as they decide how they're going to "tag" their review work.
Download includes strategy instructions and three versions of a classroom poster to use with yours students.
Addie,
EQAO is coming up in the spring here on Ontario. I am always looking for new and innovative ways to get my grade six gifted students to reflect on their learning. This strategy will work all year round, but will also be great to introduce now as the test is coming up soon! Thanks for your generosity in posting this for FREE!

Thanks - so glad you'll find this helpful with your students! I think it's such a helpful tool and I enjoy watching the discussions that go on between students as they try to decide what colour to tag something.
