1998 â€“ present Teacher of English, West Chester Henderson High School, West Chester, PA Taught eleventh and twelfth grade English to both academic and honors levels concentrating on critical reading, methods for research, and the art of composition. Took part in rewriting curriculum, designing district-wide assessments, and leveling of student writing. Successfully integrated technology into instruction and evaluation. 2005 â€“ present Graduation Project Coordinator, West Chester Henderson High School Facilitated the entire senior class in criteria for completing a graduation project. Oversaw student proficiency in the areas of research, writing, technology, public speaking, and visual integration according to state and local standards. Implemented new curriculum ideas including community service. 2007 â€“ present Facilitator, Learning Sciences International, Wilkes-Barre, PA Facilitated graduate-level classes in conjunction with Wilkes University. Courses were offered almost exclusively for individuals seeking to further their role as educators in the 21st century. Experience: 2003 â€“ present Technology Mentor- served as liaison to central administration for our building. Facilitated the planning and implementation of software and hardware into the teaching practice for colleagues. 2006 - 2008 Classrooms for the Future Coach â€“ T & A Conference in Tennessee; Hershey Consortium Participated in multiple professional development sessions subsidized by PDE and designed to prepare coaches to function as the primary technology-integrator for the school. Organized and facilitated multiple training sessions for teachers affected by the CFF technology grant. Observed CFF teachers and participated in adapting their instruction to the Classroom for the Future model.
