This file contains all of the Daily Fix-Its for Houghton Mifflin Texas Journeys. These are the daily proofreading sentences for Grade 1 Unit 1. There are two fix-its for each day of the week and for each story...these will give your students an amazing amount of Daily Fix-Its to practice their proofreading skills!
For each Daily Fix-It remember to read the sentence with the students, discuss what needs to be fixed, then have students write the sentence correctly and illustrate the sentence. These sentences follow the Daily Fix-Its in the Journeys Teachers Edition, except for a few minor changes I made here and there...nothing big, I promise! I hope you and your students enjoy this activity as much as we do!
