Each "poster" has a large, bold-faced title (Sequence or Chronological Order, Cause/Effect, Describing OR Main Idea/Detail, Problem/Solution, and Comparing/Contrasting, two graphic organizers, and a list of key words to help summarize). Also includes "Text Pattern" poster to label wall if you choose. I recommend using the postermaker to enlarge and then mount them on another color to make them "pop" on the wall. Included is a template for summary writing. These are especially valuable for common core lessons requiring students to write for multiple purposes and analyze text. My class likes finding new transitions to add to the starter lists as well. These would also be great in a literacy center for upper elementary students as a challenge to determine which text structure their reading fits into and write summaries.
