Thanksgiving-themed skit with 25 full color pages pulls all types of learners into an interactive story that teaches addition regrouping. Lots of original artwork provide manipulatives for the story to come to life. Detailed teacher notes preempt common regrouping issues and questions. A wide range of worksheets (with answer keys) from two digit to four digit numbers allow all levels of learners to stay fully engaged and challenged while participating in their zone of proximal development. Play paper dolls and carry food to the Thanksgiving Feast. This is one of my students' favorite lessons- a memorable story will make regrouping easy and fun!

Very cute and well thought out. Saved me time with kids who were struggling. My kids got it right away, and this year's students had fewer errors right from the start. I can use the houses for other lessons too.
