Could you give a little explanation as to how you use the prompts and what is roll and cover? This pertains to the thanksgiving math unit. Thanks

Sure! I use the prompts in the students math journals. We usually go over the question together and talk about different ways that we can show our thinking. Then students glue the prompt in their math journals and show their thinking. Roll and cover is a game. Students roll dice (number or dots depending on their level) and cover that many pictures with cubes or themed erasers. Hope that helps!
