This is a 7 page script that teaches about Thanksgiving. There are enough parts from a class of 8 to a class of 28 if larger groups are assigned the choral reading parts. It is designed to be used to improve reading fluency from 1st-3rd or perhaps even struggling 4th grade readers. It is perfect for a class performance for a small audience. There are a sprinkling of challenging adverbs for vocabulary extension, but plenty of repetition for ease of use. This is a perfect product to reinforce any unit that teaches about the First Thanksgiving and/or an exciting class performance. The title "That's What Thanksgiving's For" relates to the song That's What Friends are for that could be sung by the class at the end of the performance. Enjoy!
