Exciting new technology support product! The Bad Cat is the first of an original series of beginning readers that feature embedded cross-curricular activities. It has been designed for use on the Smartboard (interactive whiteboard) and is presented in a color format. However, I am also offering a black and white version which can be photocopied and used in the usual way. The controlled vocabulary is from the Dolch list of sight words. The book includes a special page of information and tips for the teacher with a page of statistics regarding the number of words used. It is suitable for any beginning reading program and/or ESL/EFL students.

Help
I have been teaching for over forty years. My experience as a teacher includes elementary school, junior high, ESL in China and Taiwan to all ages (including two-year-olds!)ESL to Adults and Adult Literacy. I have also filled the posts of Modern Languages Coordinator for seven years, an administrator, curriculum writing, computer and curriculum resource teacher. I have also done designing and preparing teaching materials od all kinds, and was a product presenter and teacher trainer for Pearson Ed in Asia. I have a varied background of experience as you can see. While in China, I was involved in writing curriculum, teacher training and preparing teaching materials for use with the Smartboard. As you might imagine, I have learned "what works", both through research and "procedural knowledge". My personal goal for student success is this: "100% of the students 100% engaged, 100% of the time".
