This literacy center activity focuses on the long y as /e/ and /i/ sound. Students must sort word cards into two piles and work findings. A Wanted Poster of the Bandit Y is also included. Download the preview to see the cute police theme word cards.

The bandit idea makes the y sounds much more memorable. Will copy and white out to make more words and more complex words. Will definitely remove "sy" - where did that come from?
We just finished studying the sounds of y and my students enjoyed doing this activity during their Daily 5 Word Work time. I have made the Wanted poster for Bandit Y, so this was a great addition and a perfect compliment to other materials I have been using. Thank you.

I purchased all of my materials from this site on friday, january 6th. Your materials say they are on sale from the 6th to the 9th. Will I be charged at the sale price or full price? Thanks,
Melissa
Hi Melissa! Thank you for purchasing from my store :) What time did you purchase the items? It might have been before I set the sale if it didn't charge you the sale price..
