This mini-course introduces students to the famous Bayeux Tapestry, the 230-foot long embroidery that tells the story of the events leading up to and including the famous Battle of Hastings of October 14, 1066. Students engage in hands-on activities in order to gain an understanding of the Bayeux Tapestry as both a historical document and a work of art.
