This is a series of 11 lessons (22 pages) for John Boyne's incredible novel, which is a necessary and appropriate introduction to the horrors of the Holocaust (seen through the eyes of a 9 year old boy and the friendship he develops with a young Polish Boy). Each lesson contains a writing prompt that applies to that day's reading; comprehension questions for every chapter; graphic organizers for every lesson that help students visualize the world that Boyne creates through his writing.
