This is a two-week differentiated unit on the novel "The Candy Corn Contest" by Patricia Reilly Giff. It includes three tic-tac-toe task choice boards that are differentiated by performance level. Bundle also includes directions, response cards, and two differentiated rubrics to use for the performance task. Unit focuses on the objectives of story elements, predicting, making judgments and inferences about characters, and making connections.
