well, this might be fun after the novel, but to be honest I have read the book several times and I was unable to do the puzzle unprompted....maybe it is just me.

Hi,
I'm so sorry you were disappointed in my product. Most of my products are meant to be taught after teaching the book, but I don't make that very clear in my descriptions, do I? I'll have to work on that.
I always suggest that teachers fill in some of the letters in difficult Quotefalls as hints. I would be glad to do that, but then it's permanent since these are pdf files, and some teachers don't want hints. Attached is a free product: Bookmarks Plus for Catcher in the Rye. Be sure to print them back to back.
I really appreciate your comment; you pointed out a shortcoming that I hadn't thought of.
