This PowerPoint presentation is the second of four in a unit titled, "The Changing Earth", which includes the lessons, "What Are the Earth's Layers?", "How Does the Earth's Crust Move?", "What Changes the Earth's Surface?", and "How Do Rocks Reveal Changes on the Earth?". These are all based upon information from the fifth grade Scott Foresman Science textbook. This particular PowerPoint presentation contains eighteen slides that present students with information about continental drift, the theory of plate tectonics, and plate boundaries and their relationship to volcanoes, earthquakes, and mountains.
