This was inspired by the song I love it when you call me big poppa by Notorius BIG. It talks about the causes of the cold war and even dives into the Korean War. Joseph MaCarthy is not referenced in the song but the Second Red Scare is. I have a preview listed below.

It finally ends
US and Soviets are no longer friends
Truman didn’t like the Hammer and sickle
He thought the commies were gonna trickle
Now we have the Marshall Plan
Giving food to the British man
We told Europe we’d help rebuild
Joseph Stalin is not too thrilled
Believe me sweetie
I got enough to feed the needy
We’re about to join the North Atlantic Treaty
Next we have the Truman Doctrine
A cold war battles' about to be locked in
President Harry wants to contain
It keeps on spreading like a stain
