This is a lesson plan (including discussion questions) on Act Three of Arthur Miller's The Crucible. It focuses on comprehension of the characters and plot, but also has questions connecting the events portrayed in the play to history, current events, and the students' own feelings about the characters and the issues it raises. The discussion portion of the lesson should last about a half hour.
