This is a very simple, act-by-act form to use when reading the play during class. If you've ever had to cast readers, you know that it's a pain to keep up with which characters appear in each act...which students you've cast in each part...which class period has different casts...etc. This is a very, very simple, printable form that is ready to fill in with each class period's casting of parts. It has ONLY the characters listed who appear in the associated act (in order of appearance). See the preview file for Act I to see if this would be useful for you. I re-cast roles for each act in an effort to keep students engaged. Thus, I print one form for each class period...and organize them in a small folder (by act). It has made a huge difference in keeping me organized and saves time every time we read the play aloud. It is also invaluable to leave behind for a substitute when you need to be out!
Great resource! I created a similar one years ago, but yours is better looking. However, I did change the margins slightly in order to get all the content for each act on a single page. The fewer papers I have to keep up with, the better.
