PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

This package provides students with everything they need to complete a short story unit on William Sleator's "The Elevator! A complete unit - just print and teach!!!

All activities are classroom tested and include creative handouts, information sheets, detailed instructions, and templates!

This creative and engaging package includes the following:

-Comprehension Questions - A complete set of comprehension questions to go along with the story!

-Protagonist and Antagonist Information Sheet - A page of information describing Protagonists and Antagonists.

-Protagonist and Antagonist Activity Handout - Students use the template provided to illustrate and describe a Protagonist and Antagonist from a well known movie, book, or television show! Draft and good copy templates provided!

-Conflict Information and Foldable Project - Students learn detailed information about the types and categories of plot, and create a foldable to help reinforce the ideas. Foldable template provided! Thi

-Conflict - Students use this sheet and information they have learned about the categories of conflict to brainstorm types of conflicts seen in well known books or movies.

-"What Happens Next" Creative Writing Assignment - Students use this sheet to write a new ending to the story that resolves the conflict.
