"Bridge" the gap between pre-reading, reading, and post-reading of the Christmas classic novel, The Family Under the Bridge. The story is set in Paris, France during the holiday season. Activities include predictions, guided reading, and reflection/sharing. Enjoy this story with your students which encourages charity during the holidays.
I really thought this was going to provide more than an overview of a lesson plan. I thought actual questions, worksheets, etc. would have been included. It was only $3, but I'm highly disappointed.

I have taught for 36 years at the 3rd, 5th, and 6th grade levels. Fifth grade is my first love. I teach all major subject areas. In addition to my regular classroom duties, I have taught in a Basic Skills summer school program for many years as well as taught workshops to co-workers in whole language and technology. My other duties at school include being "Teacher in Charge" and Student Council advisor.
