This fun and engaging poetry book has five Gingerbread Man poems that can be used to teach phonetic skills, reading strategies, and making connections while reading. Each page allows for an interactive experience with each poem and engages students by making their poetry book their own. This book can be used along side great literature and as part of a Gingerbread Man unit to make for an enriching learning experience. Also makes a great poetry or writing station for older students.
