Examine a year of Medieval World History based on the Historian's Apprentice pedagogy. This Powerpoint shows how the Historian's Apprentice is applied to the California State Standards for Seventh Grade History. It includes a wide variety of primary sources, writing project, research projects, and oral presentations and performances. The opening slides describe the philosophy behind the pedagogy of the Historian's Apprentice. Use this as your catalog and inform the author as to which project you would like to see on TPT for all are original and can be made available. They can be applied to other subjects and grade levels. Make requests of primary source or research projects that you would like to use and look for the results.

I really liked your thinking with the students. I teach Eastern Hemisphere in Mississippi. I am wanting to revamp our lessons. I am currently reading "making History Mine' by Sarah Cooper. Great book by the way. I'd like to know what a lesson of yours looks like along with formative/summative test. Any thoughts would be very helpful. Thank you for your time. -Sarah
