This Reading Response packet was designed for the book "The Hoboken Chicken Emergency". There are vocabulary, comprehension, higher level thinking questions, research activities, and writing prompts that parallel the book. I designed this to be a teachable packet to use during my Guided Reading Groups. I use this book with my lowest Reading Group in 4th Grade during our genre study of Fantasy. There are questions and activities for every chapter of the book.
