This grammar activity pulls sentences from the book The Hunger Games (chapter 8)! Students will begin to see grammar examples while reading.
This activity is four pages of student activities (keys included) with sentences pulled from the loved book The Hunger Games. It includes two worksheets that cover the study of prepositions, prepositional phrases, and objects of prepositions:
* 20 sentences from chapter 8 that require students to identify prepositions in the sentences.
* 20 sentences from chapter 8 that require students to identify prepositional phrases and the object of each phrase in the sentences.
This works well because students who need to focus on prepositions have an activity, while students ready for the next step in working with prepositions have an activity. You can also use the first worksheet as review, and the second as the assignment.
