This vocabulary activity pack for Suzanne Collins' The Hunger Games contains handouts that utilize context clues and crossword puzzles to help students learn difficult words. There is one context clues handout and one crossword puzzle handout for every chapter in the book. The worksheets are ready to copy and distribute to students. These handouts are great to help students preview and learn new vocabulary words before they start reading each chapter. This vocabulary pack includes a total of 54 worksheets (27 context clues handouts and 27 crossword puzzles). It is sure to be useful in any classroom teaching The Hunger Games.

The Hunger Games is a hard book for lower functioning readers. You did a good job picking out vocabulary that will be difficult for them.
