With this novel tie, students complete a project(making a cupboard) and writing activity based on the popular novel, The Indian in the Cupboard is written by Lynne Reid Banks. It's a great novel to have students read around Thanksgiving or just while studying Native Americans. This activity can be done prior to reading the novel or after.
