The books are great to put in their book boxes and help make that print to song connection. I put most of my song/books in there because they are much more motivated to read/sing. My daughter-in-law is a 1st grade teacher too, and her students requested a special book where they could color the "Letter H," so that is why there is an extra 1/2 page book that is black and white. Kathy has 15 years teaching experience and currently teaches 1st grade. She has experience teaching in Pre-K, Kindergarten, 1st and 2nd grade. Kathy also worked for the OK State Department of Education on a grant for including children with disabilities in the least restrictive environment.
